This week, Ubisoft has reminded all and sundry that they fully intend to harvest an enormous pile of cash this Christmas. Issuing a release schedule for some of the most anticipated titles this year, the giant publisher is affirming its dominant position in every gamer’s letter to Santa.
Everquest, still pencilled for a September release, will be the appetiser for Ubisoft’s full seasonal menu – with Brothers In Arms, Prince Of Persia 2 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory representing a fully trussed-up turkey with all the trimmings. And for the leg and/or breast-favouring, cracker-pulling, stuffing fans, don’t forget to leave some room for Playboy: The Mansion, which will be setting off fireworks on Bonfire Night.
Here’s the schedule in full:
September – Everquest 2 (PS2)
1st October – Myst 4: Revelation (PC)
1st October – Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time (PS2)
Mid-late October – Brothers In Arms (PC, Xbox) PS2 version for Q1 2005
November – Prince Of Persia 2 (PC, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube)
