Wario Ware gets European release date

'Cube multiplayer shenanigans for 3rd September

Wario Ware Inc.: Mega Party Game$, Nintendo's zany quick-fire mini-game anthology, has finally been awarded a European release date. Come 3rd September, GameCube owners will be able to enjoy the ultimate party game on a decent sized screen.

The 'Cube version is much like the previous GBA outing, retaining the same bizarre Bishi-Bashi style madness, so fans of the handheld Wario Ware will know exactly what to expect. Import reviewers had criticised the GameCube game for not having enhanced the content on what is a considerably more powerful machine, but the European release will be retailing for £19.99, so the 'more bang for your buck' issue will be less of a concern.

Hey, good news. Another cheap GC title to put next to Mario Party 4 and 5. Not bad.

The low price is great news. An aggressive move by Nintendo, for once learning from problems with releases in other regions.

The GBA version is as essential as Pacman or Tetris ever was, and I imagine a 4 player sitting would be even better.

Dang Nintendo...you've given us Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, Mario Party, Pokemon, F-Zero and now Wario Ware? If it wern't for DDR, my friends would never take out the Gamecube!
