KOTOR II slips to 2005

Wait extended for Star Wars playing of roles...

LucasArts has pushed back the launch of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords for both PC and Xbox, with the game now officially slated for February 2005, missing its expected Christmas release.

The Sequel, a massively expanded update of the acclaimed original that promises to be a considerably darker affair, was shown at E3 to a rapturous audience and is expected to be one of the pristine gems of latter-phase Xbox development.

Stay tuned for full updates...

I think people will wait for it anyway. I'm sure more people will be upset over Sam and Max 2 being canceled by Lucasarts. At least KOTOR2 will arrive.

Your report is slightly incorrect. It was always scheduled for the first quarter of 2005. News was released on several sites late last week quoting a member of the development team that the game may be finished in time for a Christmas release. Other than that Lucas Arts has not sent any press release out stating that the game has been pushed back from first quarter 2005.
