Halo 2 enjoys panoramic view
Screenshots are, for the most part, self-explanatory things. They are images captured from a game that are then presented as 'teasers', 'appetite-whetters' and/or 'hype-mongerers'. Bungie, however, is clamouring for the public's attention by 'revolutionising' the screenshot. Not content with simply showing ordinary pics or videos of gameplay footage, it has chosen to circulate a three-dimensional Quicktime still from the eagerly awaited Halo 2. Viewers can rotate and zoom to their hearts' content, admiring the way in which an unfortunate chap is being dispatched via the medium of a big laser-blade from an infinite array of angles.

So there you have it, proof if proof be needed that Halo 2 will definitely be a three dimensional game. For a moment there, it could have gone either way, what with all those earlier screenshots being two-dimensional and everything…

Expect the Halo 2 hype to continue in earnest until the Xbox owning world implodes with excitement on 9th November. In the meantime, you can rotate a picture using the links below:

The vehicles, the weapons, the multiplayer. Damn I want an X-BOX. You guys should just start huffing gas, dumb yourself down a little. That way I'd have more of a chance to pick one up on SPoNG's tab.

On second thought, Joji: You should probably just go ahead and commit suicide.
