We are delighted to bring you a batch of screenshots released by Nintendo Japan illustrating the joy that is Sonic Rub, the Sonic Team-developed Nintendo DS rubbing game!
As you can see, the idea of the game section is to "slide your finger rhythmically and quickly!" in order to contort the Blue One into a frenzy of spinning and ring collection, something that is pleasingly well executed.
There is also a video edit mode, wherein the player manipulates the camera angle using the lower, touch-sensitive screen. We believe that the level through which Sonic blasts in this demo will be one of the levels featured in the work in progress outing, likely to be unveiled at this year's Tokyo Game Show.

It does look a bit cack doesn't it. Maybe some Japanese developer is reading this and wants to make one of those bizarre Japanese "dating" games with this rubbing thing implemented ... *wink wink*

I saw these pics at magicbox.com, though it may look odd you should never judge a book by it's cover.
We'd all have to play the thing first. We'll know soon enough. The video of this game I watched from ign.com, and it does look cool running (good joke corner).

But more recently, books covers are designed and printed using a variety of graphical and typographical styles designed specifically to convey, in the briefest glimpse, the content of the cover, and to speak specifically to the demographic deemed most receptive to the content. So nowadays, book covers are designed specifically for you to judge the book by.

I'll blindly support them 'till they screw me over. Still, half of these announced DS games look like gimmicky tech-demos to show of the system's hardware. I guess that happens with every new system though *cough* Luigi's Mansion *cough*
And yeah, my girl would probably support me playing this game.
