We brought you news earlier this week relating to the Sega AGES offerings headed for the US which seems to have come unstuck since the information was gleaned at E3. Apologies.
We reported that Sony Computer Entertainment America had rejected all titles for stand-alone release, insisting that titles were lumped together into groups of four games, or dedicated offerings.
During E3, the plan was to include Virtua Racing, Columns, Space Harrier and Golden Axe, as we reported. However, somewhat embarrassingly for us, this was changed at some point in the past ten days to Super Monaco GP, Fantasy Zone, Golden Axe and Space Harrier. Bah!
Another disc, the long-awaited Phantasy Star Collection, was announced this morning.
Apologies for any inconvenience or excitement caused. We do, however, believe that Columns and Virtua Racing will be included on the next volume of AGES titles.
