Khan: Absolute Power MMORPG Announced
Khan: The Absolute Power was released to Korean audiences back in 2002. Mirinae Entertainment announced today that US and European versions will be released at some point before Christmas. Khan was a fairly popular title in Korea, although the videogame scene there has shown more devotion to the MMORPG than many other regions, so that success won’t necessarily translate to European audiences. What we do know is that Absolute Power features Genghis Khan in 13th Century Mongolia, and that can only be a good thing.

Aside from the welcome absence of goblinoids and axe-wielding dwarves, Khan is very much a traditional MMORPG. The player selects character class, profession and then embarks on a quest to continually upgrade and assess various attributes and skills, meeting fellow MMORPGers as they go.

I don't really have any opinion on this, but I did just have a lovely bagel for lunch.

I'd say this is a good thing, it's nice to see some korean titles reaching our shelves at last. Now all we need is Ragnorok Online to get an Xbox release, and I'd be all over it.

Also nice to see another eastern nation showing online games can work and be fun.

It was Heinz's sandwich spread for a reasonable 75p per jar. I didn't use butter but it didn't seem to make much difference and I warmed the bagels in the microwave which is always a huge bonus.

And hey, those MMORPGs eh?
