Trigger Pulled on Killer 7

Missing in Action at E3.

You could be forgiven for thinking this game is number seven in a series called Killer. 2004’s E3 Conference has taught us that such resource-stretching techniques are part and parcel of the world today. Despite the fact that Killer 7 did not materialise in playable form at E3, we feel we still have to give it a mention. It may well utilise cel-shaded graphics, which many have considered faddish, but that is fundamental to Killer 7’s graphical style. Its use of cel-shading is in no way formulaic, it is a defining stylistic factor. As such, Killer 7 does more than most to add weight to the ‘videogames as artform’ argument.

The storyline and gameplay are still shrouded in mystery, but we’d still like to think that this will be something truly awesome. It's just a shame that Capcom at E3 couldn't tell us anything that we didn't already know about Killer 7 - and that's not much anyway. We'll bring you more on Killer 7 and the reasons for its non-appearance at E3 soon. The game itself is due for release this winter for PS2 as well as Gamecube.

Strange stuff, I hope it don't get canned. I'm well looking forward to it. I need a fix quick.
