Pandora Tomorrow Gets Multi Format Release Date

Splinter Cell coming to PS2 and Gamecube.

Ubisoft has just confirmed the official release dates for the Gamecube and PS2 versions of the recent Xbox hit Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. The Cube version will reach these shores on July 1, and will contain a few console-specific extras. Naturally, that will come in the form of GBA-GC connectivity, so if you go out and buy the GBA version of Pandora Tomorrow, you’ll be treated to eight extra missions by completing your Cube equivalent.

The PS2 version, hitting European stores on June 11 (a whole week before the US release – woo hoo!) will use the USB headset to narrate in-mission situation reports to the player. It also makes use of ‘ARGUS moving dynamic lighting technology’, which according to the press release is "an awesome technical achievement".

Either way, if you’ve seen or played the Xbox version, you’ll know pretty much what to expect.
