Square Enix will be putting on one of the more Sony-centric displays at E3 this year, with just one title for the GBA to break the mould. Demonstrating sound business judgement, appetisers for the next year's episodes of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts will be on show; and less momentous snackettes will also be available to appease the hunger of over-excited fans - with a FFXI expansion pack, and a Kingdom Hearts GBA spin-off due for release later this year.

Final Fantasy XI: The Chain Of Promothia [PS2]
This expansion pack for the FFXI will provide 2 new areas for existing players. The underground city of Movalpolas was built by Goblins, and the Tavnazian Archipelago is a series of small islands peppered with the remnants of the beastmen army.

Final Fantasy XII [PS2]
Due for US release in 2005, this will be the next landmark in the legendary Final Fantasy series. With the promise that gameplay has shifted away from the pattern of linear narratives, Square Enix will be hoping that they can extend the FF fanbase even further.

Front Mission 4 [PS2]
This will be the first PS2 rendition of the popular mech-based strategy title. It will be released this July, so those with a penchant for contemplative robot stomping won't have to wait long to get their fix.

Fullmetal Alchemist & The Broken Angel [PS2]
Action RPGs are what Square Enix does best, and this ought to be another shining example. As one would expect, the key gameplay twist is the inclusion of alchemic powers: which will enable the player to turn household objects into dangerous weapons.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories [GBA]
Being the sort of people they are, Square Enix can't let any story go untold. Hence the GBA will receive this semi-sequel to the original Kingdom Hearts game, thus filling in the 'dead-time' before Kingdom Hearts II hits the shelves in 2005.

Kingdom Hearts II [PS2]
Adorned by the colossal Disney license, the first Kingdom Hearts sold over 4 million copies. Clearly, a sequel was justified and doubtlessly the series will continue to a third part and beyond. There are masses of people who love Disney, and Square Enix has an unshakeable reputation for creating high quality games of this type. They can surely be confident of success with this one.
