Amongst a rather weighty list of titles to be shown by Vivendi at this year’s E3 comes the most recent announcement of a new, honest-to-goodness FPS developed by Monolith. On the one hand, this might be the next chapter in the No One Lives Forever series, but on the other it might be a ‘Matrix meets The Ring’ type affair (as Vivendi has suggested). All will surely be revealed over the coming week.
There’s little information to go on at present, with only the screenshot’s accompanying caption ‘They say bullets taste like chicken’ setting minds spinning. If the game involves any kind of poultry-based rocket launcher, that can only be a very good thing. If that was just a strapline to dupe chicken lovers into getting excited, then tears will be shed by at least one close observer.
