Everyone makes way for Eidos' Agent 47 this week, as the shiny pated one claims the ELSPA/ChartTrack All Formats number one spot with Hitman: Contracts. Biting at his ear is EA's "sim pugilist" Fight Night 2004 at number two. All this combat-focused action puts Codemaster's ToCA Race Driver 2 at number three after just one week at the top. Following ToCA's lead, all of last week's top 10 titles move down two places, with no leadfrogging with the exception of this week's other new top 10 title, Codemaster's England International Football, which entered at number eight. With Euro 2004 taking place next month, this one might make a little more progress.

McAfee Internet Security V6.0 is this week's only other new entrant into the top 40, though two new entries appear. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin returns in budget form, riding in on the wave of Hitman: Contracts publicity and landing at 34. Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack reappears at number 33.

Next week, expecting big things from the EA's heavily marketed UEFA Euro 2004 and Atari's Transformers Armada.
