Official Playstation 2 - magazine of the year?! That steaming pile of horse w*nk isn't fit to wipe my a*se.

Fair enough the UK games magazine industry isn't exactly a buoyant ship of creativity and splendour but at least give the award to something that isn't written by 11 year olds with learning difficulties!

Magazines? What are them?

Fcuk magazines. T'Internet's the only source of honest-to-god factual information spewed forth by 11 year olds.

Anyway, talking of drinking games, I can't wait for the US open at E3. Heh.

I disagree with you, these guys who make this magazine are very witty and clever people. The OPS2 is the best ps2 magazine out there. i have talked to the writers on the PS forums, they are cool people who have a cool job playhing games and making a magazine.

It's seen as the best magazine simply because it's the only one with playable demos, the mag itself is written by drunken chimpanzees with a history of mental problems. Their reviews are a total s**te, I mean 'The Getaway' got 9/10. Hmmm a few extra bananas went into that monkey's feeding bowl for that month I think...

The only times I ever caught the OPS2 'writers' on the PSforums was when they were desperate for something to go in their magazine.

Listen, dude, these guys HAVE to be nice to you in forums, that is, if they have thewir officiual hat on. Because ANNOYING READERS IS NOT ALLOWED. But they are the self same guys who whinge and bitch about you in their offices, and under their other forum handles, rip the piss out of you.

They are the spawn of satan, how do you think they got the "OFFICIAL" handle? By sucking Sony's cock! Anyone who was surprised by the "Sony spent £50,000,000 pounds on it so we have to give it a good score" for Getaway should cop a reality check.

Magazine writers have jack clue, becaus ethey NEVER PAY FOR GAMES, and because they are repeatedly told to BE NICE TO ADVERTISERS. Review scores are bought and paid for... the days of integrity in publisheind wenbt years ago. All the publishers are PLCs, they all HAVE TO get bast value for their shareholders... which equates to getting the most adverts. And you can't get adverts by TELLING THE TRUTH, because the first thing advertisers do, to try and get you to LIE ABOUT THEIR GAME is threaten to pull their advertising.

I agree with you guys about the getaway, that game sucked.
Though really, if you look at all magazines, no score gives a genuine outlook on the game. Yes the OPS2 is the official magazine, but they are independant writers and can write **** about sony, they said it themselves once.

the OPS2 team come on the PS forums at 5pm-6pm every wednesday to tells us about new games which are only in production. Many secrets have been told to use there. Im not saying they have to be nice to us, though they are generally nice beer drinking post uni adults making magazines for a living.

No reviews score makes the game different for anyone else. The game is upto the gamer and everyones different.
