Famed developer looks for talent.

I can do that!
I can do that!
Neversoft, the much-admired developer of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series, is about to begin a new non-THPS game and is currently looking for artists, programmers and more.

By way of it’s recruitment pages, NeverSoft says, “We have decided to open our doors and welcome a bunch of new people under our roof. Our goal is to grow Neversoft into two teams this coming year. We still intend to support the Tony Hawk franchise, but we have some other ideas that we want to bring to life.”

Details on the new game are scarce, but it will feature on PC, use a fresh port of the most recent Tony Hawk engine, and will be massively multiplayer and online. We are expecting clarification from the Neversoft team this week, so stay tuned.

This is bitchin news. Neversoft have never made a bad game, MDK1, Spiderman and of course Tony Hawks all rool!

So while I want them to keep on pumping out THPS gaes, It'd be mucho shame if that was ALL they ever did. So this new news is gr8 news!

Have to agree. While I've not really rated THPS since the first one (too much of the same for my liking), MDK was the best shooting romps I'd played until Timesplitters 2 came along. I was astounded by the ease of control during web slinging, combat and wall scaling and the intuitive camera in Spider-man, all things that could have killed the game on its arse had any one been fudged.

Can't wait to see what's in the wings.
