SCEE has confirmed that the follow up to 2002’s barrel-smoking cockney adventure is in development at its Team Soho studio but, apart from this meagre verification, not a sausage. No images, no story, no game info, nothing.
It’s safe to say that the painstakingly recreated virtual London won’t go to waste, providing the setting for another claret-filled adventure full of driving, fighting and shooting amidst the grim recesses and alcoves of our nation’s glorious capital. Whether the game will be a true sequel, or whether it will take the form of the once-rumoured Getaway expansion pack, is still not yet known. But SCEE has promised to release official assets for the game early in the new year - we’ll bring you details as soon as this happens.
