Atari yesterday put out a press release that spoke of DRIV3R, the game in development for Xbox and PlayStation 2, neglecting to mention that anything is underway for the PC.
This caused a stink for about five hours, until Atari clarified the issue.
"DRIV3R will be released for the PC," said a company spokesman. "However, it will be some time after the console versions."
