Capcom’s network game causes pant-soiling

Latest Biohazard Outbreak screens rock world.

Capcom of Japan has released a slew of images taken from the final Japanese build of Biohazard Outbreak, the networked PlayStation 2 exclusive title due to hit stores worldwide in the coming months.

The gameplay is team-driven by up to eight players - all online - with players taking up one of the eight character roles on offer. Capcom has also implemented a fully fledged single player version of the game too, though the focus of the project is the online team play.

As you can see, the screens show a much darker and more sinister world than those taken from earlier builds, and the lack of zombies of any description makes us think that the development team has a few tricks up its sleeves.

Hitting stores in Japan on December 11, expect US and European releases of Resident Evil Outbreak to follow early next year.
