Speaking in this week’s Famitsu, Nintendo revealed - to our astonishment - that Donkey Konga 2 is already underway, with a serious series planned for the loss-leading drum peripheral.
“We have spoken in-depth with our partners at Namco about how the series should progress,” said the company. “They have great experience with such things, at making drumming games and creating franchises. Donkey Konga will be the first of many games in the series that will make use of the Konga drum.”
Although we are still awaiting confirmation of Donkey Konga for a release outside of Japan, various Nintendo sources both in the UK and the States have stated that it will make the trip from the East.
