Unreal Tournament 2004 slips to the year it should really come out in
Epic in ‘more time needed’ no-shock
Atari has today confirmed what has been circulating amongst Internet sleuths for some months now, namely that Unreal Tournament 2004, the latest Epic online FPS, has slipped out of this year.
The game will now hit in February 2004, as Atari will explain:
“Atari and Epic Games announced today that the release date for Unreal Tournament 2004, the highly anticipated follow-up to last year's smash Unreal Tournament 2003, has been moved to February 2004. The game was previously slated for release during the 2003 Holiday season.”
And that’s that.
