Exclusive: Fallout to be re-made for consoles – due next year

We have it on good authority that the Fallout series is about to make its way to home consoles.
Both PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions are underway, with the games based around the popular second game in the series, Fallout 2.
According to our sources, the rights have been snapped up by Acclaim from the now-defunct Interplay, which ties into the considerable cash-injection enjoyed by Acclaim last week.
We are informed that the versions will be ready in time for a Christmas 2004 release.
We’ll bring you updates and clarification in the coming months and in the meantime, the excellent Fallout 2 is available in the UK on the Sold Out label at a mere £4.99.
