Mojib Ribbon: rabbit hops off!

Prepare to be entranced again.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has released the first batch of screens taken from Mojib Ribbon, the long-awaited sequel to the 1999 genre-busting music and rhythm game, Vib Ribbon.

Although little has been divulged as to Mojib's content, it has been made clear that the basic premise of the game has been changed, with a new emphasis on making Mojib draw pictures and letters on screen, replacing the simple A-to-B mechanic of the original.

Sony Japan has also promised “enhanced network function” which will see new content made available via the net, as well as the ability to share custom content and other goodies.

Annoyingly, Mojib Ribbon has not been confirmed for the US or Europe at this time, so we have no news of what can be expected outside of Japan. However, an announcement of sorts is expected in the coming months, with insiders pointing towards a PAL release in the middle of next year.
