NES Zelda classics ride high on GameCube

Nintendo of America has revealed an incredible Zelda GameCube bundle, that will see four classic games in the seminal action RPG series re-housed on the 128-bit home console.

The bundle, which is thus far confirmed for the US only, will see re-makes of the original Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, both of which graced the NES all those years ago.

Then take the dimensional leap into the realm of N64 Zelda, with Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.

And then to whet your appetite, a playable demo of Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, the acclaimed cel-shaded GameCube update to the beloved series.

All this goodness comes on one disc, complete with a black GameCube!

We are awaiting clarification on a PAL release, though we are advised that it’s likely.
