Gran Turismo 4 bonus disc details, plus GT4 double disc package revelation

As the Tokyo Game Show opened yesterday in Japan, Polyphony Digital made the shock announcement that it will be releasing a Gran Turismo disc in time for Christmas, as a teaser for the full game.
Carrying the fancy title Gran Turismo 4: Prologue, you’ll get access to a small selection of cars and one track in time attack mode, as well as one license test.
The disc is thus far only announced for Japan, though given the series’ phenomenal sales in Europe, a PAL version is widely predicted.
In other news, it was revealed that Gran Turismo 4 will be a two disc set, with a Gran Turismo disc and a separate data DVD for arcade mode, hinting that the latter mode has been considerably beefed up.
