According to a report on French website Vossey, Valve’s marketing director seemingly confirmed all of the firm’s porting plans for Half-Life 2, naming Xbox, PlayStation 3 and GameCube 2.
When asked about the console future of the massively anticipated PC first-person shooter, Doug Lombardi reportedly said, “Yes, initially on Xbox. The game will be available on Xbox but not until 2004. The agreement with Microsoft is not exclusive and we will also see the game on the next consoles by Sony and Nintendo.”
So there you have it. The first confirmed game for both PS3 and GameCube 2 is Half-Life 2.
