A source close to UK-based Street Racing Syndicate developer Eutechnyx has revealed that Namco has snapped up the fancied game in a $1.5 million swoop.
Street Racing Syndicate was without question one of doomed 3DO?s better-looking games and tipped by many to be the firm?s possible saviour. Its edgy driving theme made it the perfect candidate, a point made well by Namco?s impressive splash.
In related news, Ubi Soft acquired full rights to the Might and Magic series, including two games already in development, for $1.3. No details have been revealed as to what will be released.
As and when the rest of 3DO?s catalogue is snapped up, we?ll let you know.
