In its first two days on general release in Japan, Square Enix’s inaugural RPG for GameCube, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, has shifted an impressive 200,000 units.
Estimates to date put the game at topping a million sales within a fortnight, proving that FF-starved Nintendo gamers are the perfect audience, with the game selling well despite comparatively lukewarm reviews in Japan.
Annoyingly, western gamers aren’t likely to see anything of the game until Easter 2004.
