No doubt eager to save a few quid, Nintendo Europe has today announced that it will not be exhibiting at this year's ECTS event, due to be held in London between 27th and 29th of August. The firm also scuppered the idea of putting on another Nintendo Show, as enjoyed by gamers in the past.
Instead, Nintendo Europe will drive a huge bus up to the front of the show. Inside the bus will be 40 Nintendo consoles, with an emphasis on Mario Kart: Double Dash. Other titles, including GameCube Four Swords will be playable, as well as a smattering of other goodness.
Erm, what happened to the new Super FX chip and Mario 128 being shown…? Bad news indeed, though hopefully the press conference may still hold some goodness.
