Eager not to displease the nine people who bought the Panasonic Q GameCube hybrid machine in Japan, Nintendo has shown a custom, cut-down version of its Game Boy Player add-on for the machine.
As the Q is somewhat sleeker than a standard GC, the dimensions have been altered to fit the base, and other than that, there’s no difference.
However, Nintendo has not changed the colour of the somewhat ugly player, leaving it black. Which, well, looks a bit naff, propping up the highly desirable silver posterior of the Q.
Not that it matters to us western types, given that the Q is part of the massive collection of highly desirable hardware Nintendo opted not to release outside of Japan.
