Formula 1 sees lap-dancing tabloid favourite Jodie Marsh sign deal with Sony.

In curious news, Sony Computer Entertainment has done an endorsement deal with Star of ITV’s Essex Wives Jodie Marsh to help with the launch of Formula 1 2003 for PlayStation 2.

And yet strangely, though announced last Friday, the gaming press was not informed, with information trickling out of motor trade news sources.

“Jodie seemed a natural fit to launch Formula One 2003 in true F1 style,” said SCEE’s David Wilson. “With a new wave of excitement surrounding the sport and our signing of a four year exclusive licence with Formula One, this is an exciting time. We are confident Formula One 2003 will prove as much as a hit with F1 fans as Jodie Marsh will launching it.”

So are we bitter about missing the photo shoot? Well, yes we are actually!

Anyway, Jodie herself had this to say: “I've always been a huge motorsport fan, so the chance to help launch of the official Formula One 2003 game was too fun an opportunity to miss. PlayStation have invited me to this year’s British GP, so I look forward to get a real taste for the incredibly alluring lifestyle."

Anyway, enjoy these exclusive pics of Jodie doing the biz with SCEE!
