Nintendo’s psychological thriller Eternal Darkness has been signed for TV and film outings by Hollywood production outfit Hypnotic, in the latest case of the movie industry scrambling to sign the game world’s most convertible projects.
“The characters in this game are extremely complex and story is truly dynamic. We're looking forward to working hand-in-hand with Hypnotic to bring this exciting and innovative entertainment property to an even broader audience," says Gail Tilden, vice president of Brand Management at Nintendo America.
The producers promise to stay faithful to the original plot - no surprises there - and will release writer and cast information in the coming weeks.
