Nintendo in concert! Saluting the music of Koji Konda

Polygon reports that Nintendo will be hosting a ‘black tie’ concert in honour of its most famous composer, Koji Konda, the man behind the acclaimed music featured in the Mario and Zelda series.
To be held in Tokyo on September 14, the orchestral event will see one hundred musicians belt out versions of popular themes from games, including the NES’s Super Mario Bros!
The magazine also reports that jazz and Latin-inspired versions will also be included. It’s samba time in Hyrule!
No mention of a tour was made, surprisingly.
