Star Wars and Nintendo go together like Jedis and light-sabres, and now we're told that yet another Cube exclusive Star Wars game is winging its way onto the shelves. It's not a hugely original concept, but the hordes of Star Wars fanatics around the globe won't be concerned by that minor detail. Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike will reach out to various popular locations in George Lucas' alternative universe, and in playing out one perspective on the infamous Battle of Hoth, will give the player the chance to step into the space-sandals of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Wedge Antilles and others.
This third instalment will also address some crucial omissions from previous games. If we mention the words: land-speeder, Ewok, AT-ST, Endor and such-like, you'll probably be conjuring the right kind of expectations. Fans will always ask the world of a Star Wars game, and hopefully Rebel Strike might be a step closer to that elusive slice of perfection.
