SNK VS CAPCOM joy and happiness

If you're a fan of fighting games, you'll be fully aware of the awesome power of the SNK pedigree and such underrated classics as Real Bout Fatal Fury, King of Fighters '94 and Samurai Showdown 2, amongst many, many others.

If you read this site regularly, we'll already have made you aware of the legendary, Capcom developed Capcom VS SNK and it's even more spectacular sequel, so we'll just cut to the chase.

SNK VS Capcom is a take on the franchise by SNK Playmore, meaning an entirely different game to the Capcom developed version, with some different characters and gameplay mechanics.

The initially playable character list has finally been announced and consists of the following:

Kyo Kusanagi - King of Fighters series
Iori Yagami - King of Fighters series
Mai Shiranui - Fatal Fury series
Earthquake - Samurai Shodown series
Terry Bogard - Fatal Fury series
Ryo Sakazaki - Art of Fighting series
Shiki - Samurai Shodown series
Choi Bounge - King of Fighters series
Ryu - Streetfighter series
Ken - Streetfighter series
Chun-li - Streetfighter series
Hugo - Streetfighter III series
Guile - Streetfighter series
Tabasa - Warzards series
Gouki - Super Streetfighter series
Dhalsim - Streetfighter series

We hope that the list will at least double, upon unlocking new characters and in the hope that someone at Playmore is reading...

We want Hanzo the ninja from Samurai Shodown.
