Vice City PC details revealed
The long anticipated details on the PC version of GTA: Vice City have finally emerged and all is looking extremely well.

According to Rockstar's website, the game is to be built from the ground up this time around to take advantage of the higher-‘spec’d’ platform. It will come complete with enhanced features such as improved graphics and sound, additional PC controls, the option to create your own player skins, and a smart little instant replay option amongst other things.

Also announced are the game's rather demanding system requirements. For the bare minimum, you're going to need an 800 MHz CPU, 128 MB RAM, 915 MB hard drive space and a 32 MB video card. Recommended, however, is a P4 or Athlon XP, 256(+) MB RAM, 1.55 GB hard drive space and a 64(+) MB video card. And, if it doesn't support DirectX texture compression you'd better add another 635 MB to your hard drive. Phew!

Whilst looking pretty high, the required components are not too expensive these days, and any discerning PC gamer will probably be chuckling contentedly to himself. They also mean that the game ought to be looking pretty sumptuous.

We'll let you know as soon as we get our mitts on some preview code.
