Following a successful search for new talent at this year’s Game Developers Conference, Codemasters are now looking towards next month’s E3 to make more acquisitions.

Ready to sign titles for PC, PC online, PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube formats, the company’s product acquisition team will be at Codemasters booth 746, South Hall, Los Angeles Convention Centre to meet game developers and discuss global publishing opportunities.

Says Gary Rowe, Head of Business Development and Manager of Codemasters’ acquisitions programme: "GDC was an excellent result for Codemasters with over 80 approaches from the international development community and we're in serious negotiations with a number of key developers. However, Codemasters' acquisitions programme remains open and we're eager to use E3 as a platform to meet more teams and view more products that fit Codemasters' policy of publishing games of excellence."

Also, in other Codies-related news, it was revealed late yesterday that there will be a second instalment of their Operation Flashpoint PC game. Prague-based development team Bohemia Interactive is once again commissioned to work its magic, the first fruits of which will be shown at E3.
