THQ has announced a deal with Empire Interactive to bring the quirky racing-trading title that is Big Mutha Truckers to the US for GameCube, Xbox and PlayStation 2.
?Big Mutha Truckers is an imaginative property that continues THQ's commitment to publish fun and original content for all gaming platforms," said Alison Locke, executive vice president, North American publishing, THQ. "The clever humour and unique gameplay of Big Mutha Truckers will give gaming fans everywhere a chance to climb into the cab of an 18-wheeler to pursue the riches of the road.?
This news should come as a welcome break for Empire, which took a kicking on the stock market recently. Combining with deals for Bad Boys II and Bulletproof Monk licenses, this news should see some sort of resurgence for the UK-based outfit.
