Pelican Accessories has taken peripheral maker Mad Catz to court, over allegations that the firm tried to defraud Pelican when doing a deal to take over the GameShark cheat device.
According to Pelican, Mad Catz and its principal shareholder Jason Cooper, operated “under the table” dealings, in order to obtain valuable game cheat information. What’s more, the deal states that several “bad acts” were committed in dealings between Fire and Mad Cats during the bidding war for the GameShark trademark.
If the claims are upheld, GameShark devices may be pulled form stores.
