It has been revealed that Midway has cancelled the production of its flagship title Haven, in one of the most alarming symptoms of Dreamcast syndrome identified.

As sales of GameCube software fall short of the firm's revised projection of 55 million units, so the confidence publishers and developers have in the machine dwindles.

An Xbox version is still expected however, but the original PS2 release, trounced as it was by Vice City, may not spawn the two sequels Travellers Tales had envisaged.
