Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee makes the jump
Infogrames has declared that its smashing monster battler, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, will be freed from the shackles of the disappointingly low-selling GameCube and will be free to sell slightly better on the slightly better-selling Xbox.

As well as porting all the good bits from the original, like smashing up monsters lifted from a whole bunch of gnarly Japanese B-movies, development studio Pipeworks promises a ream of extras, both technical and in terms of gameplay.

This means the inclusion of Mechagodzilla III and several new arenas. What’s more, you’ll be able to enjoy Melee mode alone, with computer controlled combatants, and take part in a free roaming, “just smash stuff up” mode.

And there’s bump-mapping too!

We’ll bring you screens as soon as they land.
