At a press conference held in Tokyo this morning, Konami unveiled Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow for Game Boy Advance, the latest addition to the 2D horror-platform RPG series.
The action is essentially the same blend of puzzle-solving and real-time battles, albeit presented wonderfully well. Furthermore, the game will feature a massive range of weapons and magic never before seen in the series.
At the conference, Konami team head Koji Igarashi said that the main objective of the game is to get players trading through the GBA link cable. All items featured may be transferred from one player to another.
Anyway, enjoy the screens and see what you think.
Interestingly, Igarashi went on to say that his team is currently working away on a home console version of Castlevania, though would say nothing more.
We’ll let you know when the silence is broken.
