The good news is that The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker will be released across Europe on May 3. The better news is that it will include some kind of bonus disc, similar to the one released in Japan and the US that contained a version of Ura Zelda, the unreleased 64DD remake of Zelda 64.
Frustratingly, Nintendo would not say what it plans to include on the disc, leaving the picture incomplete. “We have not yet decided what will be on our disc,” said David Gosen.
We would imagine that Nintendo would simply not dare to deny European gamers the chance to buy Zelda with its swanky bonuses included. After all the hype, the game would be incomplete and far less appealing to prospective purchasers.
“If Nintendo doesn’t release Ura Zelda over here, I would think twice about buying a copy of Wind Waker,” said Adam Hartley, a longstanding Nintendo gamer from Camden, London. “We have been given the dirty end of the stick by Nintendo for so long, this is a great chance to prove that Europe is a valuable market.”
As soon as the silence is broken, you’ll be the first to hear.
