The latest games chart from the US has seen EA’s latest Sims offering get knocked back by gamers in the region.
Having been talked up for what seems like decades, The Sims Online failed to even enter the top ten, simply unheard of for a game in the series. Analysts are hinting that the series' bad experience with online play, and especially the poison hamster incident, might have put fans of the series off risking their little digital creations.
However it wasn’t all bleak for The Sims stateside. The Sims Unleashed took number one, with The Sims Deluxe taking the number two slot. The Sims Vacation also charted at number six.
