According to a memo leaked from id Software appearing on the reliable Internalmemos.com, leader of the pack John Carmack has fingered ATI as the firm behind the leaking of Doom III code late last year.
In the memo, entitled Internal Leak Update, it states, “After a very long investigation about the leaked version of Doom III, ATI is more likely to be responsible than ever before. One employee from the company has been fired and the situation has been taken care of.”
