Yuji Naka confirms New Sonic for E3!
Yuji Naka, the head man at Sega’s blinding Sonic Team studio, has stated that a new version of Sonic the Hedgehog, for ‘home console’ will be shown to the world at this year’s E3 Expo, to be held in Los Angeles in May.

It is likely that the game will be shown on several formats at once, following Sega Japan’s announcement late in 2002 that its key franchises, which of course include Sonic, must be released across several formats to make money.

This being said, expect a GameCube version, practically announced already by Sega sources, as well as a PlayStation 2 version at the very least.

It’s all good. Keep an eye out in the run up to the show and all, we’re sure, will be revealed.
