Surprise as Ys gets PlayStation 2 outing
Ancient RPG series gets new lease of life.
To the general surprise of all industry watchers, classic RPG duo Ys and Ys II have been announced for PlayStation 2 by IP owner and development studio Nihon Falcom.
Carrying the title Ys I and II: Eternal Story, the games, complete with the now standard cut-scenes and general RPG malarkey, will be ported from PC to PS2 later this year.
