We have a dozen or so brand new screens hot off Codemasters’ presses for you to gaze at in awe. But more importantly, there are extra new developments in the Xbox version to get excited about.
The game will be fundamentally the same as the PS2 and PC versions of ToCA Race Driver but with notable additions to the formula: a qualifying round of races before you get to compete in any championship will have to be negotiated. Miss out on qualification and you’re back to square one – tough! You’ll also find that there is more competition on the track, as a total of 20 cars race around at any one time – that’s six more than you’ll find in the PS2 and PC versions.
Finally, there’s the improved sound, and not only for the Xbox version. The PC incarnation too will feature Dolby 5.1 surround sound.
