Konami of Japan has released a batch of screens from Silent Hill 3, the latest offering from its ‘proper’ horror series, currently underway for PlayStation 2.
As you can see, the third game in the series from the alarmingly camp development team appears to be the nastiest yet, with horrific images of general Silent Hill-ness, involving broiled dogs and unspeakable, tragic monsters.
These new screens also give us the first decent look at the game’s female lead, who resembles Hasuki from Tecmo’s brilliant horror title Fatal Frame or Project Zero.
As far as we are aware, Silent Hill 3 is due out mid-next year, making up Konami’s mid-season release schedule. We’ll let you know if we hear anything different.
