Nintendo of Japan has issued a warning to consumers stating that there are serious memory retention issues with several unnamed third party memory cards.
Specifically, games are either impossible to save at certain points, with the system not recognising the card. Other issues involve complete loss of all Zelda data upon retrieval.
One card company, GameTech, issued a warning and an apology to its consumers, following its Mach Memory 1016 proving unusable with Nintendo’s latest killer GameCube title.
Nintendo didn’t mention whether these problems would be resolved for the European and American release of Zelda.
