Square peels the lemon. Party scheduled in boardroom for next week

The president of SquareSoft, as it exists at the moment, Yoichi Wada has announced that as of next week, Final Fantasy XI will have 200,000 registered, regular users.

As you may remember, Square set the figure of 200,000 as the break-even point for the development of the PlayOnline games structure it implemented.

Hopefully, a European release date will be set for FFXI in the next month or so and in the meantime, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles may be released for the European GameCube earlier than expected.

As ever, all things Final Fantasy will be closely monitored and reported on immediately.
