Kayama bigs up the UK!

As we exclusively revealed to the world several weeks ago, Sega is poised to set up a European publishing arm in the UK, carrying all its own titles moving forward.

As you may know, Sega’s gradual withdrawal from the region left only skeleton staff in London.

Talking to press in Tokyo overnight, Sega chief operating officer Satoshi Kayama said, “We have a strong game brand in the European market, especially in the UK. We're trying to create a situation where we can break even at unit sales of two million.”
